The Crew

The skipper Boris is a permanent resident in Vava'u who fishes the waters all year round. People say his easy-going nature and stories from around world make for a great day out.

He won the Tongan International Billfish Tournament in 2009 and travelled to Cabo, Mexico to represent Tonga in the World Championship. Boris currently holds the All Tackle Record for Giant Trevally and Most Billfish Ever Caught in the TIGFA tournament. His success rate is one of the highest in the Vava'u Sport Fishing Club.

Petoliki, the deckhand on Lavinuella, is an experienced and keen fisherman himself. Born in Vava'u, his local knowledge has proven invaluable. His positive energy and physical strength are real assets to Tahi Pacifika.
